3USD Barbeque at Serendipity Beach
Today our last nite in Sihanoukville. We will take a double deck tourist bus to go back to Phnom Pehn for 5USD fare. We rent a motor cycle for 3USD a day, and filled up 1 liter gasoline for travel around the city of Sihanoukville, the Psar Leu market, bus stand as well as the victory hill and beach.
We are checking the bus ticket fare in the bus stands, price mostly rise up due to the peak season for Khmer New Year starting from 13-15April 2010. We decided to take the bus from our guest house as the price almost the same and provide pick up service from the guest house, so we don't need to go to bus stand tomorrow.
The ride from one beach to another beach seems shorter. They drive on the right side here . Due to I am coming from the left side driven country, it's a bit confusing for me. Never stop my navigator who sit behind remind me about right RIGHT RIGHT man.. remember.. right RIGHT RIGHT side..... hehehe.
After seightseing and expecting beautiful sunset at Victory beach, we stopped at Night market located around the Lion Golden Circle. I would like to see the Khmer show of eating Pontir Cone. Around 7.30 pm we arrived in the guesthouse, take shower, continue writing my blog and go to the beach for our 3USD dinner.
We ate barbeque at the restorant beside the fortune beach. Fresh air, nice rottan chairs to sit and relax. The 3USD package of barbeque adequate plenty much. The set including, bread, salad, potatoes, sauce, two squirts, two prawns and slice of tuna fish as well as free small glass of Angkor beer.. wow wow what a food.. eventhough by seeing the food make us hungry again.. hehehe..
The dinner times so quiet, we are busy with our own food, meanwhile the dogs shop owner running around the beach, and the corridors of our table path. We need to protect the food from the tricky dogs that probably will steal our 3USD barbeque sets. :) Not even 15mnts we done with our food.. wow.. WHAT a food.. mamamiyah lezato.. tasteful seafood.. We just realized that for that set of barbeque menu, the price is reasonable with nice atmosphere at the sea side.
We took dinner about 1.5 hours starting from 9.30pm until 11pm we backed to our room. I continue browsing internet and blogging.. This lovely blogging activity starting become addicted to me. I try to pursue one blog a day in any chance where I can go online. Hmmmm.. I'm sleepy now. Tomorrow we need to visit one more beach before returning the bike.. and get ready to Phnom Pehn.. see you all with another.. blog.. Hope you enjoy the photos and the writing.
